We visited my mom this morning. It was a quick visit but very nice.

Well I keep this up about as much as I do my journaling. That's too bad since this has been a good year. Today is Mothers Day and I was able to visit my mom and then my kids surprized me with a mothers ring and a card that had been sent to everyone to sign. It was really special and i will treasure the card and the ring forever. Thank you so much.

We climbed up Upper Table Rock in Medford. It was an

easy to moderate hike. We took pictures of flowers

along the way and found the one flower that was only

grown on the top of these mountains. It was fun.

We stopped at christmas valley on the way to Idaho for Thankgiving. It is a town out in the middle of nowhere. Here we are eating at my sister Cosette's house. We were staving since we ran a 5-K that morning. Pictured are Drexton, Eliza, Beth and Hannah. In the top picture

you see Amy, Leah, Hannah, and Drexton. The food was great.

Today we are having the first big storm of the season. I am done with my christmas shopping and feel warm and cozy by the fire. Last week we did some christmas shopping with Natalie. She is so cute with her belly growing. She is having a boy (Davin) around the end of March.

I hope everyone is in the Christmas Spririt. It feels great to be out of school for a little while. We had fun getting our christmas tree. Here is a little song that the family barely sang. I think we need to get a little more excited.

This is an Italian Wedding tradition (no, we are not Italian but it looked fun) that we had at Leah and Drexton's wedding reception in Oregon this summer. It symbolizes the need to work together for a good marriage. Hmmm, maybe we should have given them a little OJT on how to use a saw. It was lots of fun

Hello family and loved ones. We are having a great Christmas. I hope you are as well.

We took a trip to Southern CA. Here we are at the Orange grove.

For the first time in many years we are all together. Leah is home from college and even though she loves it in Rexburg she plans on trying her luck in Provo, Utah. We are all envious of her because she'll be able to see our little Satia alot.
Satia is Joshua and Pam little angel. She is the only neice and grandchild so she is quite looked after. They live in Salt Lake City and Josh works with troubled youth as well as running a tatoo parlor. He is very artistic with his tatoos. Pam works as a waitress so that she can be home most of the time with Satia.
Natalie and Dave are busy with their triathalons and marathons. Dave ran in the Portland Marathon this past October and beat his personal time. He plans on running more next year. They keep busy as patrol officers in Jackson County.
Sarah and Chris live in Twentynine Palms, California at the marine base. He is in infintry, and planning a trip overseas soon. Sarah is attending college and working as a waitress.

Hannah is a ninth grader and trying to cope with being the young kid at school. She is a fun person to be around and is a great teenager. She is looking forward to driving in January.
Vanessa is the one that keeps us laughing. Her and her friends are always having fun. She is playing the flute and piano.
Dad tried hunting for the first time this year, we plan on eating a christmas goose. He stays really busy with church and work.
Mom is busy with school and looking for a job to keep Leah in School.
